An all around outstanding film with action and drama mixed well. I think Harrison Ford turned in one of his best performances ever. Add that to a believeable plot joins to bring this film to excellent.

I am surprised that Tommy Lee Jones did not get an Oscar for this performance. He was simply OUTSTANDING as Deputy Marshal Sam Gerard. Harrison Ford is a great job as doctor David Kimble. This is one of the few TV shows turned to movies that is better than the original TV show. The storyline was realistic. Many drama/action movies add things that do not belong, such as explosions. This movie did not use them or needed them. The acting was explosive enough. This is a must for any DVD collection.

Nonstop suspense. Doctor Richard Kimble didn't kill his wife, the one arm man did. Tommy Lee Jones is the coolest US Marshall/lawman ever on screen. You care about all the characters. I consider this to be Harrison Ford's best action flick, Airforce One would be second. Get the Dvd!

I thought this movie was great...I actually think that Tommie Lee Jones made this film better then Harrison. The only thing I didn't like was the fight that Kimball and that other doctor had at the end. That type of ending has been done a hundred times over.

Although its non stop action leaves one rather exausted at the duration, the Fugitive will be a movie that will always be remembered. It is a must see and without a doubt, one of the greates acted movies of all time. Ford and jones are a perfect combo.
